Where have I been?

So....where in the world have I been?  Plain and simple I needed a break!  Life in general is just plain busy.  Having a full time job, 5 kids, 4 dogs life is busy!  The last time I posted it was pre summer and now here we are nearing fall!  Where did the time go?!?  This summer has been great with the kiddos.  All 5 kids are adjusting very well and have had a lot of fun this summer.  Now Ruby is heading to school next week (insert a bawling mommy here!).  Again where does time go?!? 

So to recap the summer here are some photos from our adventures.  Sorry no editing again no time :)

We swam quite a bit and let me tell you Phoenix and Ruby are PRO's!  Piper LOVES the water but she just kind of does a barrel roll to her back, Parker likes it too-only if you are holding him!  Boston oh our cautious Boston would generally stand on the side lines.  If he was feeling brave he would dangle his feet in but....when he would get it he loved loved loved it! 
 
 
We helped organize-not as much as we should have! 
We had our own RAGBRAI 
We went to the beach 
Mommy got a night out with her best bud Jamie 
Can you tell Piper loves the hose? 
We opted to go to the zoo on the 4th vs. the parade and oh boy the kids lllloooovvvee the zoo! 
Sparklers YEAH!  Again Boston was the cautious observer from the deck.
